Sebastian has operated within the Private Equity space for the past three years, successfully conducting searches across a number of senior disciplines including Accountants, Investment Professionals and Lawyers.

 

This varied experience has given him an invaluable network in the industry and insight to all stages of the Private Equity lifecycle, enabling him to add considerable value with client requirements.

 

Having resided in Holland for 8 years, Sebastian’s primary focus is on the Benelux region, placing Senior Finance Professionals into PE backed businesses across the Lower-Mid & Mid-Market.

As a Dutch native originally from Limburg, Irio is specifically focused on supporting our activity across the Benelux region.

 

Irio works closely with our Senior Finance candidates within the region to support Sebastian Osborne on all searches on behalf of investors and their portfolio businesses.

 

This includes partnering with the market’s leading Interim Managers as well as high-calibre permanent candidates from Financial Controller to CFO level.

Ed is a highly successful recruitment entrepreneur, all his experience being within the Professional Services recruitment market.

 

After graduating from Loughborough University, Ed joined an AIM listed recruiter, quickly became a top performer and was then promoted into a leadership role.

 

In 2008 Ed founded a recruitment group, which he led for 8 years and grew to revenues of £21M, with operations in UK, Middle East and Asia, before selling via an MBO. 

Ed has delivered on a number of strategic transactions throughout his career, summary below: 

  • Built a strong Teaching & Social Care business, branded as Tempest      Resourcing, selling to Paul Bromwich and Peter Archard. 

  • Led Eximius Group through a structured MBO in 2016, offering a great opportunity to exit the business over time, while also giving a fantastic opportunity for the loyal, committed and high quality management team to progress their commercial careers by becoming shareholders of the Group. 

  • Led the trade sale of Eximius Energy to AVA Energy. 

 

Ed also founded and leads 94 GROUP a market leading professional services headhunting firm covering the Technology, Legal and Tax markets. 

Ed had the opportunity to offer something back to the recruitment sector by being invited to co-chair the industry body APSCo. This role focused on enabling recruitment businesses to be forward thinking and overcoming challenges within the sector.
